I took a group shot of a local men's chorus, and I also took individual head

shots of 75 men. It's the first time I've done anything on this scale, so I'd

appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

Wow Christal,

When you are ready to put down the fiddle you sure have a future in portrait photography with work like this!! Sharp as a tack. Marvelous lighting and great skin tone. Certainly a photo worth framing!! Bravo!

Bill & Mike.....thanks, fellas.  Since Photo.net is the only place I show my work, I thought I'd better start submitting some things that show a wider range of my work, so I'm going to start submitting some personal work.

Tony, no Gary Fong.  But, I did have a big white foam core panel (6 ft. tall, 3 panels wide) placed to one side.  I do, however, have a funny Gary Fong story.  I'll email you.

Warren,  thanks!  I'm not sure how much retail photography work I'll do in my retirement because we'll be traveling so much.  But I do hope to do some personal portraiture, so thanks for the vote of confidence.  BTW, retirement is June 15th!

Steve, my biggest disappointment with this job was that all of the work was proprietary.  They wouldn't let me sell the work to the guys, and many of them asked.  The head of the organization didn't want to take time from rehearsals with orders, etc., and when I said I could do all of that without encroaching on their time, they still said no.  Thanks for the compliment though!  :-)

I meant to comment on this one long ago. I think it is an excellent Portrait. Your lighting is very complimentary. He is very photogenic, which is a plus. Nice work Christal. I read the other comments - hope you do a lot of travelling as you retire. I wish we were able to do that.
