As with my painting (when it is going well) at some point I am unsure

how much I am designing an image and how much the image has a say-so

in its own design. Comments and critique appreciated.

Yes, Wayne ... I see a woman with brown eyes, wearing a hat that is staring us over her shoulder, proudly; her little mouth ...

I agree with you that images have life by themselves. I start with an idea and ultimately has nothing to do with what I had imagined. It's a struggle, a game that almost always ends in a draw.

A strange image that can suggest many things, a semi-reality with trees, but do not really know what it is, though quite appealing...

Good lighting and great subtlety.

Many thanks.  I think sometimes these images "that have a mind of their own" are better and at least more interesting than those I force on my own.
