Gorgeous texture, composition, superb, bravo. 

It is not a hazard but rather some physical deformity on the ground,maybe a stump for example that broke the dynamics of the wind and started the buildup which then amplified during the blizzard and led to this.Nature can be quite an artist and we just come along to register the masterpieces.Glad you like!
