Greg could not start our tractor today- after one hour of trying every possible "thing" turned out to be a broken fuel line......

And if they are going to break,it seems it is always when it is so darn cold.I keep this one sheltered from the wind in a TEMPO tarp garage with a bloc heater plugged in;I now put a blanket over the hood so the little deisel engine stays relatively warm for these cold morning starts. This was a real good blizzard, over thirty hours of total white out.Main road here was left closed all day yesterday and until 3h00 PM today when everything cleared up.Winter was late starting but now catching up.

Sounds like your MF is well pampered. Our Zetor is under roof in a barn but, other than the heat the cats provide it by sitting on it- it's on its own.  We rarely need it in the winter, so hadn't used it for a bit. I almost think there's moisture in the line that froze. We'll see, Managed to get the 1988 Ford going, after much battery charging. All to move a bale of hay from one barn to the other.

10 in of snow doesn't sound as impressive as 30cm, but that's what we have now.  Temps have been hovering around  0 F to -3 F  (  -17 to -20 c?)

here are a few pics of the last couple of days.

More expected till rest of week.

Cheers!

Thanks for the photos;looks like you are having your share of winter.Yeah, snow in cm sounds more impressive than in inches, but bottom line,it has to be cleared.Old Massey here gets regular service as any snowfall on our windy shoreline location turns any 6-in storm into major buildup,so,it has to be ready for service almost daily.Guess we still have 4 to 6 weeks of snow before the start of melt....we say here that St.Patrick's brings the last big storm.I see Boudica is better equipped for snow than Caramelle with her short legs.Take care and stay warm.
