Usually one good pair of expressive "real" eyes is enough to give a good portrait.

Here toy share four (and a half) with us. Determination, despair, anger, sorrow and a touch of contempt is some of the words that that come instinctively in my mind.

On the weekends we used to visit the rural areas around Peshawar. Usually the villagers were quite surprised to see foreigners but they were very friendly and hospitable. However at this occasion it seems that we were not welcome. So we prefered to leave this place.

I like the way each of the faces are in focus so the entire group is seen as one subject. Very well done. B&W adds to the impact.
