Christal,

Oh good, your exif data is back.  One of the first things I look at as I try to learn what setting / lens other photographers use.  You have a great shot of a beautiful animal.  Nice capture.

The detail and sharpness is superb particularly when viewed large,  but what is surprising is that you managed to spot this guy in the first place, he blends in so well with his surroundings!

Nice work Christal!

Beautiful capture Christal. He does blend well with his surroundings!! He looks like he is 'catching some rays' and sits rather regally where he is perched. Nice work Christal!

Yes, I can see the Exif information on this one, of course now you have to explain how you got it back : - )

Bill, thanks, and please let me know if I fail to include the Exif info in future postings.  I have to take an extra step now (checking the metadata box), so I hope I'll remember to do it.

Alf,  Yes, sometimes they are hard to spot.  But whenever we're in wildlife areas, we drive slowly and one of us is always looking. Norm is the one with the eagle eye actually.  :-)  I like the way this guy was perched in a perfect spot.  Glad you like it!

Mike....'right at home' is for sure.  It amazes me how they scramble around on the cliffs.  I've never even seen one slip!  Thanks!

Gail.....thanks! Yes, they blend in so well with their environment. This guy had a perfect perch to watch all of us gawkers below! :-)  We've seen so many of these guys that we rarely stop anymore, unless there is a good photo opportunity.  Good to hear from you!

Alf....Not sure I can explain, but I'll try. Ever since getting Lightroom, I now save to desktop in large jpeg format, then load from the desktop to PN. I had a preset for my images I sent to PN, but somehow that got changed. I originally had it set up to include all Metadata, but somehow that got changed. I simply checked the Metadata box, and voila! It worked. Still a mystery as to how it got changed.
