Recently while attending a service for a Vietnam veteran and friend,

all thought about complaints about problems surrounding Veteran’s

Administration were supplanted with deep appreciation for the beauty

and dignity in their honoring our fallen soldiers. After the service,

the grounds of the cemetery appeared both beautiful and sad to me and

invoked a kind of double entendre (double meaning) that this image

comes close to expressing. Comments and critique appreciated.

Hi Wayne,

First of all I am sorry about your friend.  Wonderful scene with beautiful background & perfect title.  This could pass for a painting.  Take care, Patsy

Condolences for the loss of your friend. The light is incredible, perhaps a memorial of its own kind. The image will, no doubt, always have special meaning for you. Thank you for sharing the moment and the beauty at hand.

Best Wishes,

Laura
