Love it, the tree seems to be bracing itself against the onslaught!  I took a few photo's in similar conditions a few weeks back and the worst part was keeping the lens free from snow!

Yes, it was cold, windy and wet. I love those old, carefully planted oaks (they are in an old city park turned golf course) and how snow or fog isolates them from the background.
I used a zoom with a deep lens shade and didn't even think of changing lenses. The shade kept the snow out, but the camera was ice and snow encrusted by the time I was done. I always smiled at the claim of a "frost proof" camera.
