jmcruz 0 Posted January 7, 2015 Hi RuudWhen I saw this photo I said: "What is supposed to say about such trivial thing?"Maybe the challenge is that, try to find what made me write these words. First I consider this a very good photo, regarding the technical aspects (light, framework etc.), second there are a lot of interesting things which made me to decide to do this critique:I like the way the wall and the jacket patterns match, this is one of the reasons this photo works well;Every subject on the photo is pointing to the right side of the photo, the arm, the hand the head of the man, the seat belt, the rear door, even the bag is turned to the same side.Very well composed. Is interesting what we can find on a "trivial" image, and after spending some time to look at it, we can understand the reasons why sometimes simple subjects please us.Good shot Ruud, and well posted.RegardsJosé Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted January 7, 2015 Ruud you have a knack for getting the image at just the right moment. I agree with Cruz' assessment of the jacket and the wall, it caught my eye as well. Fine work Ruud.BR,Holger Link to comment
rivera r 0 Posted January 7, 2015 Well done, Ruud, I also agree about the wall and his jacket, I wonder what point he was making clear. Nice that he is using the right bags.Have a great day. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted January 7, 2015 The definition of "male shopping". "I went straight to the store and straight back!" A humorous and well captured moment... Mike Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 7, 2015 As Mr. Cruz states in his comment, there are really no trivial images if the photographer is not trivial himself. The world is a constant feast for those with the eyes to appreciate it. Link to comment
