Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 6, 2015 Large view available. Keep it or toss it? Your opinion about this "image" as either an interesting abstract or a useless blur is appreciated. I like the repetitive lines and shapes and the array of colors. Thanks for your views. Larry Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted January 7, 2015 I like it! And I was doing a similar thing when Friday evening when teaching students how to be creative without photoshop or other software. But I have to say, this looks better than my efforts which resembled space invaders : -) Nicely done Larry! Alf Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 9, 2015 Tony, Thanks for your reply. Entertaining is a good word for this blur. Cincinnati, Ohio never looked so good (LOL). Larry Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 9, 2015 Alf, This for weighing in on this whimsical blur of an image. Given your opinion I consider this image a keeper. It is an image in the sense of imagination, eh? I was out with only my point and shoot without a tripod. Camera movement created the effect. Stay warm. Larry Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 21, 2015 Tony, Thanks for your response and adjustment idea. It looks as if you lowered the brightness. Is this correct? Larry Link to comment
mareval 2 Posted January 22, 2015 Wow, fantastic dance of colors at night... Regards (and thanks for your words) Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted January 28, 2015 Most of the changes I made affect the bottom part of the image: I cloned out the white streaks at the left and middle and another at the bottom right. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted January 29, 2015 I think it's a keeper as well. Like Alf, I TRY to get stuff like this. It's not as easy as it looks to get a 'keeper' abstract. I like Tony's changes, but if this were mine I'd probably dodge the right side of the image to brighten it up a bit. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 30, 2015 Christian, Thanks for weighing in on this. I will try brightening up the right side. Good idea. Larry Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted February 1, 2015 Christal, My apologies for mistyping your name.Tony, I thought hard about those white "streaks" that you cloned out. I actually cloned out others and left these. But, I like the image with them cloned out completely too. i think Christal is one to a good idea in adding brightness or opening up shadows on the right. Thanks to you both. Larry Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 26, 2015 Really has an 'electricity' about it that I find very pleasing to the eye Larry. I also like the white lines cloned out, but for your 'original' vision, fabulous!! Well done Larry! Link to comment
