scott_murphy5 101 Posted December 16, 2014 The depth of field, composition and pose are excellent but the image seems very dark to me. Her left hand seems to be close to properly exposed but her face is very dark.I lightened up the scene so her face is more properly exposed. What do you think? Link to comment
setsail728 15 Posted December 17, 2014 What a great shot!! The entire composition is terrific. As for Scott's comments on exposure I understand what he is saying. Still, I think in this particular photo it may be a matter of the viewer's preference. I prefer the photo with exposure as is. I think it gives a "warmer" feeling to the shot than with the exposure somewhat lightened.Again, this is STRICTLY a personal preference comment. I am sure there are many who like Scott's rendition a little better.Either way, a super photo! Bravo! Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted December 17, 2014 Michael, Wonderful image - it's a terrific candid portrait, and the geometric lines create an artistic gem. The background bokeh or blur creates a softness and message of space and contrast with the focused and poised woman. Larry Link to comment
