Steam-punk masterpiece!

Looks like the starship is about to take a direct hit from a phaser.  Actually it's a plasma energy generator.  Whatever the explanation, this is a superior image demonstrating spot on composition, sharp detail, vivid color - including the expanses of black, and plenty of drama.
