Christal1664882414 0 Posted November 24, 2014 Please give me your thoughts. It doesn't appear nearly as sharp as it does in my editing program. Does it look acceptable from your end? Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted November 24, 2014 I think the large view is totally acceptable. This site loses light and sharpness when posting, so I tend to bump those values when resizing. A great POV here, even if you are in the middle of the road :-)... Mike Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted November 24, 2014 Since I've been home from Montana I've been having fits loading images. I've given up even trying on several images. I think they look great on my computer, but when I load them on PN, they look bland, not sharp and just plain boring. I've tried upping the contrast, saturation, sharpening, etc.....even to the point of ridiculous, but still......I'll load it on PN, and then immediately withdraw it because it looks so bad. On another image, Bill suggested I load with the longest side at 1200, which seemed to help. But I always used to load at around 700-800, and that worked. I don't understand why it isn't working now. Ughh!!! Anyway, thanks for your input! Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted November 25, 2014 I load landscapes at 1020 and portraits at 800, both on the long side. I have much more difficulty getting the proper look with the 800, so that fits with your experience... Mike Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted November 25, 2014 I have to say it looks sharp enough to me, do you "save for web" before uploading?I love the way the sunlight is illuminating the overhead canopy of leaves! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 25, 2014 I can say what I said in my comment to your other picture with the same motif, Christal! Excellent, that is! Best regards PDE Link to comment
