then crop but it's a sharp image and still hold it's own very well. Long live Canon

Wow...one of your best.  BTW, I drove to Dallas this week to shoot pelicans but the weather and the pelicans did not cooperate.

Thanks Bill! I got lucky since I am still struggling with adjustment of the camera, keep getting stuff that I have no idea how to change .. (I am thinking about reading the manual now). Sorry to hear about the weather, we are getting Santa Ana wind gust today also (may be 20mph) .. probably no birdshooting this afternoon for me also.

Excellent photograph. My only suggestion would be to add some space on the left wing. cropped a bit tight. This photo framed as it is might cover the tips the wing.
