Wayne Sadler 591 Posted November 20, 2014 Don’t know if it was the architecture, the dapple light, or the clothing suggesting the chill in the air, but when I turned to see this scene outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, I felt transported to some place like Amsterdam, London, Denmark or Brussels - not that I have ever been to these places. Then again, it could have been that I was dehydrated, exhausted and hallucinating from being lost in Central Park all day. Comments and critique appreciated. Link to comment
lynnemass 10 Posted November 20, 2014 Wayne- the painterly effect that you created is lovely. Since you were "painting" could you have directed the viewer's eye more to one of the bunches of people, rather than to the really bright areas on the walkway? Perhaps lighten those lovely trees and the people near them in the back. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 591 Posted November 20, 2014 Lynne, Thanks. I like the suggestions. I must be a dark moody type. I kinda like the miss direction dapple light seems to cause. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 591 Posted November 21, 2014 Patsy,Thanks, I felt the light and shadows (the dapple light) owned this image so I thought I should not mess with what it was doing. Link to comment
