Thanks for viewing/comments! From my experience (not much ) in birdshooting it's

always more interesting to catch a landing bird than one that takes off . The pose is a

lot more interesting. :-)

Fantastic timing on your part, but this guy has his flaps down, wheels down and has flared for landing a tad high.  Of course I could be wrong, after all he's the real flying pro ;-).  Excellent shot... Mike

Thanks Mr. Mancil! ... ahh ... pilot's jargons , lol .  Remember that he's coming in as a regular plane pilot but with all his buddies standing below and for him to land he has to switch over to helicopter mode, hence, the strange landing pose. If he's a plane then he's what we see as the Boeing V22 Osprey.   :-)
