In our London garden we have a lot of plants and trees that provide me with

an ample source of photo subjects. Most importantly I do not have far to go.

I am very grateful to my wife who is the gardener whilst I admire..:-). This

year we have had an abundance of Rudbeckias, grown from seed. This

photo was taken a couple of days ago and I like it , because it epitomizes

the hues and tones of Autumn.

Wonderful detail, lighting and color.  I'm not familiar with the flower but you represent it well here... Mike

This capture is so very lovely Dimitris. Your chosen crop works very well to show case this Rudbeckia! I love watching as they change colours in Autumn. The soft sunlight gracing it's 'face' is beautiful. This one will go in my 'favorites'. Lovely work Dimitris!!

You are forgiven for not knowing this flower....:-) Here is another one that came from the same packet. Is amazing how many shades of colour belongs to this species.

I like the carefully chosen angle and shallow dof you have employed for this image. It has the effect that it reaches out and pulls at the viewer drawing attention to the dark mystery of the stigma.  There is also something about the colours of this flower that stirs in my memory from a very early age, but I cannot put a name to it.

Beautifully done Dimitris!

Best Regards

I cropped this picture several times until I decided that I like this one. The stigma is placed at the upper right third. The rules worked this time..-:)..The mystery of the stigma indeed !. It holds the key to the continuation of life and apart from the scientific explanation of the process, it raises many philosophical questions that remained unanswered. As for the colours of the flower that you mentioned are the colours of creativity in my opinion..Thank you for your deeply considered comment my friend !.
