This Sherman Tank was recovered from the sea in 1984 having been lost in

April 1944. Exercise Tiger was a training exercise as part of the lead up to

the Normandy landings. It took place along the South Devon coast around

the area of Slapton Sands. During the night the ships were found by a

flotilla of German E-Boats, this resulted in many lost ships and landings

crafts. 746 American Servicemen lost their lives. The Tank stands at

Torcross as a memorial.

I like the way you have filled the frame with this and the B 7 W adds great character to the scene
