On a wet morning...

Your technique is as always perfect. Maybe experiment a little with another color for the background to make the insect pop out even more? Just an idea.

Would be curious to know what type of lighting you're using. I'm considering one of the "Ring Flashes" in the near future.

I can only imagine what this might look like with a darker background. It may make the insect pop more but I don't think I would find it as attractive as it is with your choice of background here.

I only use natural light... I have never used a flash or lighting for any kind of photography. Cloudy days and morning light work best for me. Thanks again for your comment and interest.
