jim_air 0 Posted July 7, 2014 Marvellous result, Hamid, except you seem to have two images, both with huge potential !One is that great sky and the other the marvellous contours of the sand. Both compete for our attention. Personally I would try for two very successful images. I have tried this with one with mostly sky and a bit of sand ..... the other, with mostly sand and a fifth of the image in sky and both really good.Nevertheless, this is all in the eye of the beholder, so most of us would just have liked to be there !Congratulations,Jim Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted July 19, 2014 Wonderful colours and light. The shape and contours of the sand are dream like and seem to waver before my eyes in the shadows and light.Masterful light control! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
jim_air 0 Posted July 20, 2014 Since my previous comment I have re-visited this image and now have to more or less "eat my words" ! On its own this photo is really excellent without cropping. The balance is really just right.Cropping as previously mentioned could potentially produce differing images too which would also be very good in their own right.Hopefully I am never too old (at 70, yesterday) to learn.Kindest regards and best wishesJim Link to comment
