Larger view preferred. The trains runs through it - this changing

landscape that metamorphizes from high desert to highlands to

highland rain forest/jungle. I'm a bit of a train enthusiast and saw the

turnout in the track, curve, and old water tower as part of the

landscape. The "horizon line" in this image is marked by the turnout

line in the foreground. Your visit and comments are appreciated and

valued. Thanks. Larry

H Larry-Great railroad shot joining the rest of the gently curving lines in your image. The lines curving around the bend leave us with the unanswered question, what is beyond the bend. The round brick structure is a small water tower for replacing the water in the boilers locomotive's boiler. Of course that was then, not now, run by Diesel locomotives Like the soft, low tones of the colours Very attractive image. Best Regards-Ross

Wonderful detail and sharpness when viewed larger. This image gives me a great sense of being there, in fact it's probably the next best thing to actually being there.  I would love nothing more than to set off along that track walking and as Ross indicated just see what is around the next bend, and the next one after that etc.  One of those rare images where man's intrusion into the landscape with his steel tracks and water tower actually adds to it

Compliments & Best Regards
