alfbailey 3 Posted June 28, 2014 It kind of makes the hairs on my neck stand up when I view a scene like this. For this very room was once filled with laughter, tears and life! What stories this room could tell if only it could talk.Great capture Ross! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
jmontgomery 0 Posted June 28, 2014 I like this shot best since it really adds the human element with the sofa ... thanks :-) Link to comment
storie 1 Posted July 1, 2014 Hi Ross. I have some old film shots of places like this. I really like the mystery and story behind images like this. I like this one a lot. The subtle colors and great lighting add to the atmosphere and mood of this. beautiful and sad. Very nice job. Always makes you wonder what happened that they would just never come back. Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted July 1, 2014 Ross, Excellent shot. Is this an HDR? If so, you did a suiperb processing job. I hope you didn't have to clean this mess up. Larry Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted July 1, 2014 Hi Alf- Thanks for your comments, particularly liked," this very room was once filled with laughter, tears & life"So true. Can not imagine waking away & deserting my home, must have been a heart breaker for people. Vi's parents lost their home in the great depression owing only a few hundred dollars ,you could not beg, borrow money in those days.Really like to explore these old homes, from the outside, would not think of trying to get inside , let it rest in peace. Crazy. eh!. Very Best Regards -Ross Link to comment

ryourth 0 Posted July 1, 2014 Hi Jennifer- Thank you for your well thought out comments. Expect many who never returned were either depressed or angry at losing their home & did not want to revisit the scene. Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
