Thanks for viewing/comments! .. He's quite a fisher .. by going along the

shore and grab the fish out of the shoreline water. Within 15, 20 mintues he

got 3 fish all about this size.

Great capture, good colours and the moment of the shot. I like composition and neatness. Congratulations. Massimo

Are you going to train him for your breakfast ?

I am not not sure you need a new lens for Christmas with the results we see here....ho ho ho !

Bravo Tm !

Yep, I agree, it can't get much better than this.  Great light, looks almost like fill flash but the EXIF data says the flash didn't fire.  It also looks like he's climbing onto an alligator's back ;-)... Mike

Thanks Massimo!

Merci Beaucoup Pierre! LOL ... with the 1.4x TC III I am at the max distance for good images. Other folks will crop more but I know better :-)

Thanks Mr. Mancil! No flash, just sunlight and it became a bit harsh ...

Thanks Janine!  Yup,   if we eat like him that would equate to at least  10 burgers in 20 minutes  :-)

This is a very nice green heron shot (except from the point of view of the fish).  The color is nice and warm, good background, nice comp.  You seem to have great access to many species.  If I remember correctly, you live in Southern California.  Are you near one of the wildlife refuges?

Hi David! Good to hear from you, I am near Bolsa Chica Huntington Beach & San Joaquin WildLife Sanctuary in Irvine but I shoot where ever I see bird. This one was taken at Newport Upper Bay in Newport Beach where no one wants to shoot, this was the only action last Saturday morning (for 2,3 hours and no other bird).
