man hoenig!!!! thats a pretty fuckin' nice one!!! i'm scared man, its a really nice picture although i'm not a fan of manipulation i have to admit that this one is great!!! very good way to use all those computer manipulation things on photoshop!!!!

Marco !!!! This is really not manipulated at all ! Flo made this pic in the train, and the glass was a bit bent, so it gave thi effect .. :) There are more pics Flo made like this. Very interesting. But not manipulated ... :)

quite right!!! but if you dance away from the mass, it makes you interessting and so are your comments. if you rate off the mass without commenting, i precious thing is lost, and then maybe this will get a worthless forum...

i totally agree with you flo, and i am respecting your view asher. nobody is talking about getting constant approval for pictures, i just think that once we get below the 3s we should explain why.

that's what you have done now and now i understand how you came about with your rating.

I feel Asher is giving low ratings to this and other images to boost his low self-esteem. Just because he has seen too many doesn't make this one very bad. He seems to drive home this point by not posting his own images either cause he has seen them before or they aren't any good. It doesn't take a good photographer to be a good judge, but a bad photographer is a bad judge.

The creativity is there. If you can point your camera at something that is not obvious, it is creative.

 

If you can capture and display an idea so that the idea is presented clear, that can be called asthetics. To me it has been displayed clearly.

 

 

To me a low rating is an unclear idea presented within a fuzzy presentation.

 

 

Well, you damn are right in many points.

But on the other hand, when you see it like that he at this special point in time felt like rating it low, because he didn't like it for whatever reason, he has the right to do so.

Still, I emailed him to give me a reason for the rating. Of course, from the site's rating system point of view, he rated down my picture average. but, whatever!! His reason for rating it down connected with the rating makes it not important for me to think about it anymore, because it doesn't touch my thinking about my work in any way...

oida, a geiles buedl, muass i wieder sagen, und naja not manipulated, i mean my mouth is open wide as yours here veroni, really cool!!!! although in the endresult it wouldn't make any difference wheter it is manipulated or not, i mean there's only two possibilities, one..i like it, two...i don't like it, doesn't atter wheter manipulated or not. of course i see it with different eyes if i know about manipulation, but it doesn't change wheter i like it or not. maybe sometimes non manipulated pics get more apreciation more admiration, but who cares....it also depends what you are using the pic for and all....this is a very nice one anyway. and the fucking rating game....maybe du hast eam amoi beleidigt flo???

Your creativity is both inspiring and depressing me because I doubt I will ever have your ability to create this kind of imagery.
