I don't have much experience with doing couple shoots, but I quite

like the feeling of this one. What do you think?

Brendan, this is a really nice image; but, I think the woman is a bit too out of focus. It looks more like a ghostly, surreal image than a portrait of a couple. Of course, that could have been your intention, in which case it works very well!

Hi Brendan, I agree with E.Short. I don't particularly like the hand on the shoulder but if the girl was on focus it would have been a good contact between the two figures.

Thank you for taking the time to comment and share your opinions.  Normally I would totally agree with you, but also having a version where the female model was sufficiently in focus I find that her dark eye shadow tended towards being a bit overpowering.
