Wind Tower (A cooling tower – ancient air-conditioner) The historic

Borujerdi House is a great sample of a traditional Persian family

home. The reflecting pool an the wind tower are

part of the cooling system in Kashan's desert climate.Persian

architects used these structures to naturally decrease temperatures,

regulate sunlight and ventilate during daytime.

An excellent capture of this intriguing architecture Sadegh! The snow adds another element of interest to the image. I'm guessing that snow here is a rare event? Beautifully done.

All the best,
Neil

So much works well in this composition - allowing the oval at bottom left into the composition and even the heavens cooperating with the "v" shape cloud accenting the house.  Excellent work, Sadegh.

An excellent travel photo, my friend and is fascinating to learn this fact of the ancient cooling system in Boroujerti. I don't think that we give enough credit to the ingenuity of the old civilizations. A similar system was discovered in the palace of King Minos in Crete and the Minoan civilization is three and half thousand years old...

Thanks for sharing Sadegh.
