On this outing, most of the promising action was at the dock. It

immediately became apparent I would be faced with the classic problem

of how to eliminate or incorporate the perch (railing, wire, tree

limb, etc). Even with my near frozen brain, I think I learned a lot

from this session particularly about addressing the railing problem

and how to deal with low contrast backgrounds. Comments and critique

appreciated.

Michail,

Thanks.  They say art or painting is problem solving.  Maybe I am figuring out acceptable solutions to this series.

I am very fond of this composition Wayne. It is very light hearted and gave me a smile. So good to hear this became a learning session. I find those are the times I end up enjoying the most and the images I enjoy working on!!! Well done!

kind regards, Gail

Gail,

Thanks.  You are right.  The fact that I was discovering and learning something during this session made it exciting to me and may have aided my processing.

A very intriguing piece of artwork Wayne! Love the turned head and outstretched wings as well as the two companions. Great work! Best regards, Rob

Robert,

Thanks for the kind comment.  These guys were fun to watch and photograph.  I think I learned a lot about designing and presenting this type of scene during this session.
