alfbailey 3 Posted February 14, 2014 I like this series very much! But this one stands out for me for its clarity, facial expression and the body language statement "come and get it" : - ) Like the first one, the expressions of the crowd add another dimension and interesting aspect to the photograph! This sport always reminds me of that film "Slap Shot" with Paul Newman, very entertaining! Very well done Len! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted February 14, 2014 I like this one for the reasons you've stated. It's one of about 10 from this game that I intend to post. Stay tuned! I started with about 360 frames I shot at the game and edited down to 10 or 12. Throw enough spaghetti at the wall.............................! :-) Thanks for your interest. Best, LM. pnital 36 Posted February 15, 2014 From the seris, it is my favorite, not only because of the interesting composition with his feet, and timing, but especially his face behind the"glases") . You have well succeeded in showing his resolution, and the details of one player in group. Very nice detailed colors and spectators behind. (I wrote you an answer as well)... Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted February 15, 2014 I think I like this one because it gives a face to players who are usually too far away or bent in action to be easily recognized. Kind of a candid environmental portrait rather than an action shot. Of the 10 or so I intend to post I only have a couple such as this. More to come! Stay tuned & stay safe! Best, LM. Link to comment
greg mccracken 13 Posted February 19, 2014 Excellent hockey portrait, Len! I'll bet the player would like having a copy. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted February 19, 2014 He's probably got his wall papered with such shots but if the opportunity presents itself I would try to get a copy to him. You never know! Thanks for the visit & comment. Best, LM. Link to comment
