Can't see anything hapening here, The annoying element to the right of the hilt, I don't know if it is a female body part of what, but it sticks out badly. The composition seems contrived, the lack of a face denies any possibility of expression. All in all, it does nothing for me at all

O YES! Great skin tones and light control. Most provocative too. I will say though that a woman brandishing a weapon does make me nervous. Too many years with the wrong woman I suppose :=} As to Stephen's comment... some people just don't like the female form but for some reason feel the need to make damning comments about images of it in the mistaken belief that it makes them sound intelligent. It doesn't. It just proves their ignorance. He guesses that it might be a woman's body part indeed... So it goes... I think it was Ruth Bernhard that stated when asked about the cutting off of the heads of her models... Not an usual framing also a challenging subject.the easy way is to put sward in the exact middle of the body,but you chose a different approach.that made it very special and stimulating.The body curve is so opposing to the sharp streight lines of the sward and extremes the combination!

Although I also feel the necessity of the head in the frame,but the picture is very strong,highly impressive and remarkable!!
