Storming on the harbour!

We've got snow outside here in New York City. But after looking at this photo, somehow I don't feel so cold!! A picture of isolation a rough circumstance. Ice fishing cabins are they? Great photo. What were you doing out there!!!!

Thank you for looking in.Funny winter we are having with an early start with a lot of snow and then rain to take it all down.Temperatures have also been extreme and the ice sheet on this harbour is around 60 cm/2 ft.The night before last,it came down to -23C and last night it was+1 and raining.When I took this shot,the snow was starting and the winds were picking up as you can see.These are fishing cabins and set up over holes cut in the ice;that tree is a courtesy flag over an abandoned hole.I live here and for the better part of half the year,this is what I have to contend with to enjoy my camera.
