The Akara Vendor's Daughter, Alayi, Nigeria.

I had taken pictures of this wonderful family in 2011 when we went

back to the village, but had lost the pictures when I could not

retrieve the images from the knock off memory stick I had bought in

the streets of Lagos. When we returned to the village, they had moved

from the big house where they lived and worked as staff into the

village proper, where their mother sells akara and moi-moi on the side

of the road. They are such delightful and beautiful children. As

usual, thanks for your time.

Technically this work is excellent with exquisite use of lighting on a beautiful subject.  Really nice!

I will save myself some time here by simply saying this image deserves all the positive things said about it. I cannot improve on what has already been said.

The lighting and detail is extraordinary and the smoke against the dark background gives an animated feel to the whole scene.
