Wonderful, simple composition.  I especially like the "mirroring" of the cloud on the right and the rock on the left.  The gradient of light also adds much to the photo.  Very nicely seen and photographed.

Nice mood, good light, different shapes and shadows. Well done.

I really like the stark winter trees and their subsequent reflections, the mist and the light adds great atmosphere to the scene. I found the finger of land on the left a bit intrusive at first, its dark shadow seeming to shatter the illusion of mystical tranquillity, it looks very different cropped out, but the image then becomes unbalanced......after some deliberation I think it should stay.

Thanks to each of you for stopping by and for your comments. This is a golf course I drive by every morning to go to work. As I was driving by on Friday, I was mesmerized by the scene... the temperature was cold enough that the low fog had frosted all the dunes and tree tops, the sun was rising and the light and shadows it produced were just so fantastic! I could not get there that morning...but it did make me get up early on Saturday to try to catch it again. It did not freeze that morning, but still was a beautiful setting. I did take shots where I tried to compose the scene without the land on the left, but as some of you mentioned, it seemed unbalanced. Having the sun rising in the fog on the left gave to much weight on the right...
