Hi Jamie,

There is no lens distortion ! Only perspective at play.

I can obtain the same effect with my $4000 Carl Zeiss 15 mm M lens

or my Nikkor 15 mm F/3.5 rectilinear lens, too.

Well shot my friend.

Best Regards, Mike

necks going each way.

i've never tested this one, but the 12/5.6 is amazingly good.  Thanks Mike.  epd

Hi Jamie,

I have the 12 mm F/5.6 Voigtlander and it is a very good lens. The 12 mm and 15 mm are excellent as rectilinear lens, with the 12 mm a bit more sensitive to the relative level that is used for a horizontal scene. If cost was an optical merit function, these two lens would be better than the Leica and Carl Zeiss very costly alternates.

Best Regards my friend, Mike

everybody else charges a lot for such things.  the ability to get close to the film obviously plays a big roll.  Thanks Mike.  epd

The angle places them in the frame very nicely, though I'd be more cautious with the close proximity, only because they can be a bit aggressive.

I was once grabbed from behind by the leg from an over enthusiastic swan wanting a bit of my sandwich when I was fishing...........I'm scarred for life! Mentally at least!

Different Jamie, very different!

Best Regards
