alfbailey 3 Posted December 28, 2013 Lovely light and shadow play , you get a real feel of being there looking at this, the winter sun after the storm adding great atmosphere.I wonder if a portrait version showing a bit more of the path beyond would have added further depth? Very well done Ross and Sincere Best Wishes for 2014 Alf Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted December 29, 2013 H Alf-Pleased you like the picture &thanks for your welcome comments. Am quite pleased myself.Snow can be tricky, if you overexpose you can not get detail & underexposed, the shadows are a way to blue. That's the beauty of bracketing.. well,Xmas has come & gone, just leaving New Years, understand that is the big one in England. Our party days are over & find it difficult to stay awake to midnight , but we do it & toast in the New Year.I will raise a glass to you, my friend, altho you will probably have called it a night, but then, maybe not..Anyway for you a Happy & Prosperous 2014.Very Best Regards,Ross Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted December 29, 2013 Wow, after watching liquid snow (rain) all day this is refreshing. I, too, would like to see more of the trail beyond, but it's excellent as is... Happy New Year to you and yours... Mike Link to comment
