Larger view recommended. Happy holiday and New Year to all. This shot

from my window feels like a minimalist wake up call to the below zero

temps and windchills that usher in the holiday. Best wishes to you all for a

healthy, happy, and artistic New Year. Larry

Benjamin,   Thanks for your visit and comment.  I have just looked at Jack Dykinga's book, Capture the Magic, and was putting away my camera, when this image popped into my head. I guess simplicity works.  Best to you.

Jim,  Thanks for your visit.  I like your observation about the background fading out into infinity.  Have a wonderful holiday and New Year.  Larry

Hi Larry. It is cold here, but not his cold. Can't help but think of family enjoying summer in NZ! Take care and have a good year in 2014.AG

I really enjoyed viewing this image large and love the contrast and also the very subtle light and shade and hue.  I kind of wish that the dark area in the bottom right corner wasn't in sight, and would even consider playing with the "warp" tool in PS to eliminate it.  But nonetheless, it is a beautiful shot!

Compliments & Best to you for 2014!
