Very nice image I like the contrast of the white soil and crosses with the blue of the sky ( I thinh it is very beautiful even in black and white), ciao Giangiorgio

Browsing your work I saw the thumbnail of this one and was immediately intrigued.  The compositional elements are outstanding as is the detail retained throughout the tonal range.  Very, very, thought provoking image.  Well done indeed.

Thank you kindly.This is in the town where I grew up and I am quite proud that the present mayor and his team recognized the contribution of these patriots and erected this memorial in a spot where my friends and I used to play as youngsters with no knowledge other than it had once been the site of the church.
