I looked at both and this one I prefer.I think the B/W version lacks what the color does with the background and makes for too large a void between the main subject and the discrete  ones on the right.Good work!

I think they both have admirable qualities, the B & W seems colder more remote and perhaps even sombre by comparison to the colour version, but I do admire it's mood and feeling of solitude.  The Colour version is a lot more inviting, but perhaps not as strong.
