Wow! What an awesome sight this must have been!

The title is very well suited as the "Stark" white peaks contrast so well against the darker sky. I wonder if the foreground grasses could be selectively darkened slightly to allow a bit more substance to them and maybe crop / clone out the small bit of vegetation near bottom left?

Oh yes and I did "Click for larger view" : - )

Compliments & Best Regards

Thanks to 3 of my favorite photographers!  Alf, your observation is spot on.  I should have noticed that little bush sticking out.  I actually did slightly burn the lower left corner, but it could use a bit more, especially with the dark bush removed.  Thanks for your advice, and thanks to all of you for your supportive comments.

In trying to implement your suggestion, I came to the conclusion that the left side of the image really didn't have that much to offer, so I decided to crop it.  I'd be curious to know if you think this is an improvement.  As always, thanks for your generous suggestion.

Yes! A definite improvement. The peak is still nicely offset and I don't think the image loses any impact from the small crop.

Kind Regards
