Thanks for viewing/comments! Generally, I only see White Pelican fish in

group (in tandum) ... mostly but this fellow fish on his own

Very nice details Tm!

The little fish was hard for me to pick out and separate from the droplets but, his tail is recognizable.

One really needs to view the larger version to appreciate all the details of the scene!

Thanks Jim! Hard to show little fish :-) ... I almost deleted the shot even. The only shot with fish out of many. It's a pittiful meal compares to what the Cormorant can get because Cormorant can dive and chase fish better.

I used to shoot a lot of American White Pelicans when I was in Dallas.  What I like about this shot is the crispness / sharpness and the exposure.  The small fish is easy to miss and maybe not important.  Sharpness and color is spot-on. Good work.  

Thanks Bill! It seems the White Pelican only gets small fish and the Brown Pelican sometimes gets bigger fish. Well, at least I have never seen White Pelican with big fish  :-)
