Wayne Sadler 567 Posted October 13, 2013 As we made our way through the contrived maze that is the route to the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican museum (I think the convoluted route is the way the museum insures every visitor sees much of the amazing art collection there), my wife commented that it was getting difficult to distinguish a real drape or vase for example from paintings of drapes and vases. I started to notice how right she was and began looking for photographic opportunities to play upon the merging of art and reality. Comments and critique welcome Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 567 Posted October 14, 2013 Thanks Lynne and Tony, my friends, for your kind comments. It encourages me to post works I find interesting but are not generally appreciated and elements I find so admirable about your works. If you do not already, I would suggest you two observe each others works. Link to comment

schouwman 0 Posted October 16, 2013 Wayne! it different to photograph in a museum that is pretty good luck. very nice composition and mood. But I have one comment I see white spots in the image is that reflection of light? without filter on the lens ’d like to help to prevent this. best regards janegbert Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted October 16, 2013 Thanks, Janegbert for commenting. Yes, the white is due to reflection off glass. The image is of the scene as seen through the glass and reflected by the glass. I worked to reduce some of the lightness of the white but felt some of it was needed. I would appreciate any suggestions for controlling the lightness. Link to comment
