Wayne Sadler 582 Posted September 20, 2013 On this Sunday afternoon many of us had stopped to watch this vintage baseball game at the Bicentennial Mall in Nashville, TN, replete with uniforms, no gloves and players’ family and friends dressed in vintage clothing. It was fun trying to capture the mood of this event in a few images and relate the present to the past pictorially. Comments and critique welcome. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 582 Posted September 20, 2013 Thanks, Charles and Patsy. The composition felt a little busy but I thought much of it was needed to tell the story. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted September 20, 2013 Good retro feel, love the way the skirt hangs, and the 'lineup' in the background. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 582 Posted September 20, 2013 Thanks, Les. I really appreciate your visit and comment. I've only just learned of your critical eye and abilities with the nostalgic and vintage aesthetic. I will be following to learn more from you. Thanks for the introduction. Link to comment
M_Lipakis 3 Posted December 9, 2013 One of your best i think. Every little detail in place. I wonder how it's rating is so low(4.75 ???????????????).Never mind, keep your dignity and do never reciprocate comments or rates.Rates and flattery is four insecure idiots only (quite a few i 've already met in here though).Keep shooting. Wayne Sadler 582 Posted December 9, 2013 Michail,Thanks. Encouragement is often needed. I was pleased with this image and a little surprised it did not resonate well with many others. That's the nature of art. Link to comment
