What an absolute shame that this was demolished!

Such a characterful property! I love the trees too. In fact this image reminds me strongly of the image you commented on recently in my portfolio named "The Bane of Bogle Wood"  It has the same mood, although I think this property has even more character!

Ever thought about a B & W version?

Compliments & Best Regards

Hi ALF-WOW!, you posses a remarkable memory to recall .my comments attributed to one of your fine images. If you ever decide to sell some of your memory, please let me know.I loved that old mansion, it's what we use to call a stately home. It's a simple design but so effective, the beautiful red bricks the gables over all the windows & of course, the porch. For me,the design is still superior to modern homes If I ever win a lottery, this is the deign of my next home.. Thanks again for visiting & leaving your ever thoughtful comments. Very Best Regards-Ross

Hi Ross.  Another great image.  What a fantastic house.  I bet it was something in it's day, kind of spooky now.  The trees really add to the atmosphere, great job capturing/including them.  Also thanks for you help with the blocking issue.  Looks like we're past it.
