Tree-Rock-Cloud

Solitary and dead trees always catch my eye, but now it's the contrast

between the ephemeral cloud and the steadfast rock that interest me the

most. Your comments and suggestions (especially regarding composition

for this photo) would be appreciated. Thanks.

A lot of powerful metaphysical metaphors come to mind here, Stephen--the clouds as Spirit, drawing forth life (the tree, now dead) from the rock, moving on as the tree returns to dust, etc.

Thank you not only for the picture, but for you own interpretation, not metaphysical, but evocative of something here that is more than what meets the eye.

Magnificent image. Stark, essentialist composition. I can't think of anything I would do to improve this. Maybe 1-2% more vibrance? Best regards.

I particularly like the balance between the three elements of the photograph.  The only thing lacking is a haiku to go with the image
