"I can feel the earth move under my feet..."

The colors seen at the Midway Geyser Basin within Yellowstone National

Park are out of this world. Add the steaming geysers and sulfurous

assault on olfactory senses, and it leaves no doubt the world's largest

caldera is alive and underfoot.

A really beautiful shot with very nice lighting, colors and details, Dominick!

Appropriate title! The colors are wonderful, with the steam and the green forest emphasizing the mood!

Oh Wow! what a place to be let loose with a camera!

I love the colours and textures of the foreground, amazing rich patterns and almost tangible elements!

The rising band of mist / steam makes for a great contrast and the trees add yet another layer of interest to the scene.

Maybe a portrait orientated shot would encapsulate the top of the hill whilst giving a close encounter with the foreground, and of course you have probably already took a shot like that, I'm just typing my thoughts.

Oh my Goodness! I have to put this place on my bucket list. You have captured this very well.  Like Alf, I have this 'inkling' to see the top of the hill but nevertheless, a beautiful image.

I might have come away with 50 shots!

Alf, good catch!  I have a crop of a vertical I will post soon.  Sometimes I try several crops but like them all and still can't decide.
