I am a little reluctant to post sunflower images after PN members like

Patsy Dunn have so beautifully defined the genre, but I am a little

excited that I have a sunflower to grow to a height of more than six

inches in my yard (I have a very shady yard). Comments and critique

are appreciated.

I really like this and it is different to most Sunflower images! Maybe just a tad bit overexposed on the top petals but think you can get away with it through artistic licence! Gorgeous background too. Nice work. Best wishes. Sarah.

A very unique and unusual image, quite different from the typical photos that I see posted to the "Flowers" category. It's a bit difficult to be original in this genre, but I think you succeeded. If you haven't done so already, you should submit this photo to the current monthly contest. Nicely done.
