Wayne Sadler 590 Posted July 21, 2013 I am a little reluctant to post sunflower images after PN members like Patsy Dunn have so beautifully defined the genre, but I am a little excited that I have a sunflower to grow to a height of more than six inches in my yard (I have a very shady yard). Comments and critique are appreciated. Link to comment
photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted July 21, 2013 Hi Wayne, Wonderful capture of this 'tall' sunflower, I love the background. Take care, Patsy Link to comment
sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted July 22, 2013 Hi Wayne,I really like this and it is different to most Sunflower images! Maybe just a tad bit overexposed on the top petals but think you can get away with it through artistic licence! Gorgeous background too. Nice work. Best wishes. Sarah. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 590 Posted July 22, 2013 Thanks, Patsy. The background was one of the things that made me think this image was worth some effort.Sarah,Excellent and helpful critique. Thanks. Link to comment
Michael R Freeman 63 Posted July 23, 2013 A very unique and unusual image, quite different from the typical photos that I see posted to the "Flowers" category. It's a bit difficult to be original in this genre, but I think you succeeded. If you haven't done so already, you should submit this photo to the current monthly contest. Nicely done. Link to comment
