The peculiar environment on this picture I named "Well paved forest"referring to the devastation of the nature due to development of theindustry in the last three centuries!

Thank you for your attention, dear colleagues!

Enters the car --- the man waiting agog for it...paying no heed to the trees sans foliage, sans life...of course the pigeon will be ready to fly away from this scene, however decorated it be with the colorful tiles...wonderful mood created. compliments  -koushik

Hi Pierre,

A wonderful presentation that sings praise to your creativity my friend.

The "checkerboard of life" is what I glean from this image.

Best Regards, Uncle Mike

More complex than usual possibly, and even more interesting as a result, bravo.

I have been reading up on how pigeons may be using quantum mechanics in order to navigate, it is absolutely fascinating!  Actually in your image, the GPS in the car and the bird may have similar attributes, the man is wondering which of the two represents true progress.

John, your imagination is very creative and developed! But, I think the man isn't thinking nothing, he is just watching the miracles of the modern time without being aware (most likely) what are they bringing to all of us!

Thank you for taking the time to drop by and write a thorough exploration of the above picture!

Another profound piece of work here, Pierre.  I wonder what would happen once he reaches the edge of technology...

First- 300 years might be a little early for the start of the industrial revolution -

second- what's up with the larger image? The car disappears and a ball appears!

We wanted to look closer at the faces on the trees- how did you do that? (the different image in large size?) Very interesting composition.  G

I hope that the tree faces will turn happy again at some time! If one were to be of religious nature the dove will be the one to bring in the olive branch (Noah's ark). A lot of trees on our farm got severely damaged by last year's storm, slowly some parts are showing signs of recovery- nature will prevail, recover much better actually without human interference.  V

There are no straight lines in the universe !

Gaudi sticked to the observation and his ART exposed it.

Euclid offered our little relief in giving us his postulate and giving answers and solutions to our tiny daily universe. So one triangle has 180 degrees angles sum.

But he was wrong ! A triangle can have more that 180 degrees in geo (Terra) metry: two Earth meridians and a parallel make a triangle that has always more (or equal) than 180 degrees angles sum ! Because each vertex meridian-parallel have 90 degrees.

Wonder why ? Because There are no straight lines in the universe !

:)

I like the mustangs near the Rolls

I like the pigeon's stare

I like his hesitation: he has to press buttons going there and one can never know...

Extremelly emotional.

Congrats brate !

A 'stark' statement of an ever present REALITY Pierre. Your creativity always pleases and surprises. If mankind keeps up at the rate he has been, there may only be colors and no details on the 'checkerboard' before we know it!! Well done Pierre!!!

Very symbolic! Technology is placed on a pedestal, man becomes a automon (robotic and neutered) and really enslaved to the machines he created, plant life becomes unimportant and withers, other animal life is also on its way out, the only color in man's life is sterile as shown by the unimaginative tiles, and the clouds on the horizon are dark indeed. Will he ever wake up???

Victor, maybe it happens now, reaching the edge, that is! That is what this picture is all about! Thank you for your visit and clever input!

Gregory, I said three centuries meaning the 19th, 20th and 21st! Not three hundred years!

Thank you for your Visit and comment!

Verena, maybe the nature will prevail after all, but the civilization is maybe slowly, but surely is destroying itself! Therefore, if not trees, some other forms of natural entities will survive, adjust, prevail...but, the human race needs much more for survival and will soon lose it all! That's the pessimistic version, there are no optimistic ones, though!

Thank you for your visit and contemplation!
