Jeff Lear 0 Posted July 1, 2013 That's pretty. I'd love to offer an in-depth critique but it would be unbalanced because I really don't have anything negative to say. I like the warm, golden glow, I like the authenticity lent by the delicate webs and bug(?) and I love the soft bokeh which forms the perfect backdrop for the prickly poppy stems. Link to comment
clayton_m 4 Posted July 11, 2013 Your subject, backlighting, and colors create an appealing mood in this image; a very appealing image overall! Cheers, -Clayton Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted July 11, 2013 The image itself as a whole is beautiful. But, can you imagine if the red poppy, stay red, not yellow or part of it even white? You haw to watch the histogram for the red, (clipping the red=Yellow) witch is easily over exposed most of the time, robing the way the beauty of the red colors. Highly recommended, to slightly under expose the image instead over, in this case. This is the case, when all the automatization is not working, (typical "A" use!) regardless of your most sophisticated camera metering system. Camera automatization always has a limit, where the photographer has to learn in special situation how to control the light, the camera, regardless what the camera like to do.Comment, "Beautiful" only, give you butter to your soul, or pride, but, not improve your technic.Cheers.
