I chose this Title because as this Abstract was unfolding, I could see

what appears to be a Cross on either side of the Composition, and

on either side of the Centre portion, there is a shape similar to

a 'Fish'. More and more 'heartache' and 'tragedy' seems to greet us

on the news each morning. If any of us can awaken to a pleasant

day, eat a decent breakfast and find that we can walk out of our front

door into a peaceful environment, then we are blessed beyond

measure. I know I feel blessed and thankful. (any visits and

comments are always welcome, sincere thanks, Gail)

Hi Gail,

Another beauty here! I especially like the effect of almost transparency that the petals take on in this. That adds a real sense of depth to the scene. The play between earthy browns and brilliant reds adds a lot to the emotional impact as well. Nice!

Hi Gail,

I am pleased to see that you had success hand holding the 100mm F/2.8  lens at 1/50 second !

A+ on the use of the lens at F/2.8 and the practice to hand hold your camera/lens at lower shutter speeds.

This Abstract is marvelous and  reminded me of a ring that Betsy owns. The center is Ruby, with diamonds clusters on each side. The ring band fades away to the sides.

Warmest Regards, Mike

I really get a kick out of seeing the photographic material that you start with, so thank you for sharing that!

This looks like an emblem, perhaps one that could be designated to "believers" I was thinking ithis would make a great design for a bracelet, and that was before I read Mikes comment : - )

Compliments and Best Regards

Such a wonderful creation. Looking at the original or where the image was derived from, the artistry in the final image is an illustration of superb concept and creativity. Beautifully done, Gail.

many thanks Lester, it is amazing what can 'develop' if you have the patience to try. I do these images when I need to just 'block all else out', great therapy!!

Actually it does curve like a bracelet would, I never saw it as Jewellery and it is odd, because I love 'Tanzanite' (lovely periwinkle color) and the flowers on either side of the middle flowers are the exact color of many of the pieces I love best in my 'small' collection!
