artofheadshots 0 Posted September 8, 2003 In this shoot I am experimenting my new Canon 10D and photographing sport events. I don't have a lot of experience photographing this type of sport. However I was quite impressed with the Kids, the weather and with my new camera. What do you think? Should I continue photographing Mountain Bykers? The kids would like me to do so! damian_eden 0 Posted September 8, 2003 Great timing and comp. Can't decide about the bridge and trees whether to keep or not. Link to comment
ben_pritchard1 0 Posted September 8, 2003 It would be nice to see a little bit more of a sense of place. You may want to work on your ps skills. The dodge/burn is quite noticable. Using a flash will help you to stop the action a bit more as well. Link to comment
neil_lupin 0 Posted September 8, 2003 great timing, but I think you need more ground or none at all. Experimenting with slow sync flash could be really cool here... Link to comment
RobertChura 0 Posted September 8, 2003 I think you did very well! A little more ground would be nice but not really necessary. The bridge tower in the background is nice. As far as ps work, you stated the was no manipulation so I think slight enhancements could make it excellent. The kid probably (and should) love it! P.S. The guy that gave you a low rating should have his camera removed from him forcefully by the neckstrap Link to comment
artofheadshots 0 Posted September 8, 2003 Thank you all for your comments. I should have been more careful with my burning. I did not want to use any tools that are not of traditional photography so I can claim it to be a not filtered or altered photograph. Robert Thank you for your comment about the 2 rating. I don't let it bother me anymore. Just look at the people who give high ratings and their photography and compare it with the one's that give 2's. Good photographers generally rate well because they are passionate and positive about photography. Cheers, Ringo Link to comment
