Hi Christal,

I like this very much! The POV is great, allowing us to see through the window. It is also effective the way you have included the different shades of wood and done so in appealing proportions. Very nice!

Great image giving a very rustic feel! To me, its the geometry that makes the picture. All those squares and rectangles on the different shade of brown works so well. Nice shot!

I'm so glad you both picked up on what I was going after with this image.  But I must confess.  My husband actually pulled the shutter, but I was 'coaching' him.  I wanted to see that far window squarely inside the big window, and I wanted all the colors/shapes you mentioned, and at the same time I wanted everything to square up nicely.  No easy task.  The thing is that I wasn't tall enough to get what I wanted, so I enlisted my 6'4" husband.  He did a great job, eh?   :-)  Thanks!

Cue the short person song ;-).  N captured it perfectly, so you must be a great director.  I, too, love the lines and textures as well as the window/window alignment...  Mike

Not a great director.....Norm is just used to me bossing him around.  ;-)  No.....not really.....well.....maybe a little.  ;-)  Seriously, he's a very patient soul to put up with me trying to get the 'perfect' shot.  He was a good sport about this.  Thanks!

Christal,  I vote for this image.  I like its simplicity, composition, and variations in color tones.  I see here what you suggested about mentioning "large view available."  Thanks for your visits to my images.  Best to you.  Larry
